Quick Answer
Many Texas HOAs review fence plans before you build. S&B Fencing gives you the fence details your HOA asks for: style, height, materials and layout. The homeowner completes and submits the application. Under Texas Property Code §209.00505, HOAs with more than 40 lots must explain a denial and the changes needed.

The HOA Has to Explain a Denial
For HOAs with more than 40 lots, §209.00505 requires a denial to give the reasons and the changes needed. You can ask for a board hearing within 30 days. The law sets no decision deadline. That comes from your HOA's own requirements.
